Are you living as a Free Man?
I asked myself this question when I sat down to evaluate what I constituted as my Freedom. I named my blog “My FreeMan living” to highlight the fact that I am living free and it’s also my last name. Free to make choices (good or bad) that will directly affect my level of Freedom.
Create Your Free Man
First, is your environment clutter free and organized? It’s very difficult to work on yourself in a cluttered environment. You can start in small areas and purge things not needed, you must designate an area for everything. I will go over organizing more in detail and the benefits in a future post.
It is easy to start organizing. Don’t try spend countless days and weeks to get organized, just make a decision to put everything in its place going forward. Take the time to put things away and clean up after yourself from now on.
How Does Living Free Look For you?
Sit down and write out yearly, monthly and weekly goals. If you don’t know what you want to pay attention to things that make you feel good. One thing that helped me is following the principle of the law of attraction. When I see something I like, I say “I am that, I am”. I replaced destructive feelings of envy and jealousy with ownership and acceptance. Goal setting is the easy part – now it’s time for action.
Activating Your Free Man
The only way to do anything is just “do it”. Wake up every morning with a purpose in your heart and get busy. I will reference the “Morning Miracle” often because it changed my life. It helps to set the tone for the day and increase your success rate. Waking up early is hard for me, I use my Ionic Fitbit’s alarm and when it goes off I say “snoozing is for losers” and I get up. Once the tone is set, continue to operate with a purpose in mind.
Keep your mind on the prize by saturating your spirit with positive thoughts and emotions. If you can’t think of anything yourself, go on YouTube and watch videos on affirmations and declarations. Whatever, you do don’t give up and be consistent.
Consistency and Faith is the Key to Living Free.
If there is one thing I have learned in following this plan is that if you are consistent and dedicated you will see results. There are a number of things that can derail you from living out your purpose but, you can’t let that stop your success. If you are following the plan you have set, you will see results.
I have thought long and hard about the “faith of a mustard seed” found in Mathew 17:20 and it’s meaning. I see people of faith in extreme pain with a terminal diagnosis proclaim healing but as soon as the pain hits them there is the look of doubt. Can you continue to have a positive vibe to accomplish your goals when you are bombarded with adversity? The answer is simply “yes”. Saturate your spirit with audible and visual support especially during times when your faith is dwindling.
Re-evaluate For Success
Take time out to re-evaluate your goals and make sure you are on the right track. Sometimes you have to adjust your immediate goals to attain the long-term goals. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t hit the mark on evaluation day. Pay attention to what is pleasing to you and concentrate on doing more of what you did right.
Stop believing you have to accomplish your goals before you can be free. Live and walk in your Free Man daily. Acknowledge small successes and express gratitude daily. You got this! Living Free is yours!
