Get Rid of Gallstones Naturally (My Story)
A deep pain in my lower back area, on the right-hand side, became noticeable. I initially suspected it had something to do with the fact that I had recently started jogging. I took a warm bath and bought some oils from the flea market to help with pain. When the pain did not ease up, I thought it might be my kidneys -never suspecting gallstones. Looking back, I also began to have burning and bloating in my abdomen in between meals. I was not alarmed because I had previously diagnosed myself years ago with ulcers. One night, the pain was so bad I made the decision to go to the doctor’s office the next morning.
The Gallstone Diagnosis
I explained to my doctor all my symptoms and she ordered a urinalysis, Abdominal Ultrasound, and x-rays for my lumbar sacral spine. The x-rays were ordered because of a previous injury I had on my lower back. I left the doctor’s office and went to have my tests done that day. I could not go another day without knowing what was going on with my body. I’m not going to lie, kidney cancer did cross my mind, but I decided to concentrate only on the outcome I wanted to hear.
The tests were completed on a Friday and on Monday morning, I received a call from my doctor’s office. The nurse said, “Felecia, you have a gallstone”. She went on to say, the doctor said if you want surgery she will send you to a surgical consult. She explained that I could try to heal my gallbladder by changing my diet but it was basically up to me. The funny thing is that I have been on a low-fat diet for years. My body forced me to change years ago. Nevertheless, I decided to try to heal my gallbladder naturally.
The Possible Cause of Gallstones
When I began to research how this could have happened, I realized that I have been having symptoms for quite some time. I think it started 15 years ago when I went on the Atkins diet. I used to eat a slab of ribs, by myself, in one sitting. Dinner on the Atkins could consist of a plate of bacon and bags of pistachios. All I knew about the Atkins diet is that if you eat eggs, meat, cheese and absolutely no carbs, you will lose weight. My body in a ketogenic state lost weight super-fast.
Self Diagnosis of an Ulcer
Because of keeping my body in a ketogenic state for as long as I could, I started to have stomach pain. I remember being belted over in pain and going to the doctor, explaining to him that I had an ulcer. I told him about the abdominal burning and bloating that would sometimes go away after I ate something. He gave me an antispasmodic medication and told me he didn’t think I had an ulcer but he didn’t give me any suggestions as to what it could have been. The pain did subside; however, I continued to have abdominal burning and bloating issues which helped me to develop an ongoing relationship with Mylanta.
So, for 15 years, I have had abdominal discomfort, but never the deep right flank pain that plagued me now. Five years ago, I discovered that I felt better after eating a plant-based diet. I thought it was just because eating meat wasn’t good for me, now I realize it was my body’s way of telling me to stop because it couldn’t process the fat.
Curing the Gallstones
- Drink water with Lemon every day.
- Drink Organic Apple Juice.
- Stone Free, by Planetary Herbals
o 2 tablets in the morning and 3 tablets in the evening between meals - Lypo Gold, by Enzymedica
o 1 capsule with each meal - Eat plant-based x 3 days.
- Eliminate Fried foods (I love French fries, and I eat fried fish)
This is what I have decided to do to get rid of the gallstones. After reading the reviews on Amazon, I did notice that Stone Free did not work for everyone. For some, the gallbladder disease is too severe and surgery is required. What I like about Stone Free is that the top ingredient is turmeric root. Turmeric helps to decrease inflammation and pain. I recently decided to layoff over the counter painkillers and I started adding turmeric to my morning green drink. So, I was excited to see that Turmeric was at the top of the list.
Is the Gallstone Treatment Working?
It’s been 2 weeks and I plan is to continue to take the pills as instructed until the bottle is gone. I have noticed so many positive effects that I have decided to continue taking them as a maintenance dose of 1 per day. The deep pain in my right-hand side does not exist most of the time. There are some days I feel something there, but it is very small and insignificant. The bloating and burning pain has eased up quite a bit.
However, because the pain did not go away completely, I was curious to know the size and quantity of the gallstones. I called my doctor’s office and discovered the Ultrasound report was not specific. The more detailed information would really make a difference as to how aggressive I should be with treatment. I did notice a reduction in body fat percentage. Not much, but I finally rolled into the 37th percentile. My energy has increased and so has my mood.
